December 2025 - Courtney Berggren has been named GMSD’s Elementary Teacher of the Year for creating a joyful, structured first grade classroom where young learners grow in confidence, reading skills and community every day.

November 2025 - The foxes of FHES were surprised with a book vending machine that has been a goal for the school for a long time! A few students were selected to be the first to try it out.

A Legacy in Paint! Forest Hill Elementary’s first full graduating class—those who started as kindergarteners in 2019—just left their mark in a colorful, creative way. Led by art teachers Reese Kougher and Charli Ardrey, this year’s fifth-grade mural project tells the story of their time at Forest Hill.
