About Forest Hill Elementary School

Forest Hill Elementary is a public school located in Germantown, Tennessee. Established in 2019, FHES is one of the top-performing public elementary schools in the state of Tennessee. We serve nearly 700 students in preschool through fifth grade and were recently recognized by the Tennessee Department of Education as a Reward School for being in the top 5% of Tennessee schools in student academic achievement and growth for the 2021-2022 school year.

 

Located on 23 rolling acres, the Forest Hill Elementary campus boasts a modern design build; floor-to-ceiling windows; state of the art equipment and safety features; lakeside walking paths and picnic benches; two playgrounds; a learning garden maintained by FHES students, parents, and staff; and several outdoor classroom learning spaces. 

At Forest Hill Elementary, we believe that every child has unique gifts and abilities that should be recognized and celebrated. We invest in curriculum and programming that approaches childhood education with a holistic, growth-focused mindset so that students can thrive, and we value partnering with parents, guardians, and caregivers so that each student is supported in their growth and development. We believe creativity, enthusiasm, curiosity, determination, and compassion are at the heart of schooling and excitedly offer tours of our learning community so that prospective Foxes and their families can see what we are all about.
