Curriculum nights are an opportunity for parents to hear from their students' teachers regarding state standards and the year's curriculum. Please note the time and date for your child's grade level.

The FHES PTO will host a charity "celebrity" basketball game on Friday, August 11, @ 6 p.m. The game features several teachers and students participating along with local celebrities. Come and have a "ball."

There are several power outages in the Germantown Area this morning, Monday, July 3rd. As a result, several of our school locations will remain closed until power is restored.

Current power outages: Farmington Elementary School, Forest Hill Elementary School, GOAL School, and the GMSD District Office.

In addition to the power outages, we want to inform you that phone lines are currently down at all schools except for Riverdale School and Dogwood Elementary. Therefore, if you need to contact any of the schools or district departments, we suggest utilizing email as the most reliable method of communication during this period. May 2023--GMSD's School Safety Team routinely checks that teachers are keeping classroom doors closed and locked. Teachers are rewarded each time their door is closed by being entered into a raffle. This year's winners from each school safety recently won a pizza oven.

On May 1, Farmington, Forest Hill, Riverdale, and Houston Middle had a few Memphis Showboats players come to their school for recess!

Last night's GMSD board meeting was a wonderful celebration of two outstanding educators, Mrs. Brenneman and Mrs. Stuart, for their exceptional contributions to the Envisions Expo for gifted students.

5/23 -- From May 2nd to May 6th, Germantown Municipal School District (GMSD) will be celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week.

Make sure to register your rising Kindergartener for one of our summer orientation dates - June 23 or July 10. We can't wait to meet our newest Foxes!
